Cellist Hong Jinho is a performer and creator who has continually pushed the boundaries of genre and art beyond classical music. He studied at Seoul National University College of Music and the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg in Germany, and has built an active international career performing across Europe and Korea. Following his victory on JTBC's *Superband* in 2019, he has expanded his musical world to encompass jazz, band music, and original compositions, as well as humanities content such as his series *Jinho's Bookshop*. His original albums *Dear Forest* and *City Melody* are particularly notable for their delicate melodies that explore themes of memory, emotion, movement, and stillness. In this special program, *WAY BACK HOME: The Road Back to Myself*, Hong Jinho's performance quietly resonates with the life and artistic journey of visual artist Lee Kyungmi — a long-accumulated path that ultimately leads back to oneself. The cello's voice flowing through her paintings, installations, and media works deepens the layers of memory and sensation embedded in the exhibition, offering audiences yet another landscape of return. This performance includes a viewing of Lee Kyungmi's solo exhibition and an artist talk.
