**Beyond the Rules, Finally at Play** *Code Sesi* is a contemporary circus collective founded by Cyr Wheel artist Kwon Haewon. The company pushes circus beyond a simple showcase of skills, reimagining it as a living language of contemporary performance art. In this show, circus equipment is no longer a cold, mechanical object — it becomes an aesthetic "plaything" that awakens the senses. The lines drawn across the stage transform a familiar black-box theater into an unexpected playground, evoking the memory of childhood games where drawing a single line in the sand was enough to create a whole new world. The performers' bodies both demonstrate the rules and break them. In this playground, some make the rules, some enjoy following them, and others twist and cross the lines to discover something entirely new. The performers navigate the razor's edge between danger and balance, while live music by Mogwaa — spanning 80s punk, techno, ambient, house, and beyond — shapes the rhythm of tension and release that runs through all play. As control and freedom cross paths on stage, you are not simply a spectator.
