# An Opera on the Keys: Cho Jaehyuk Sings Mozart **Album Release Recital — Mozart Essentials** Over the course of a year and a half, pianist Cho Jaehyuk has recorded the complete Mozart piano sonatas — and this recital marks a defining moment in that remarkable journey. Described as "a captivating performer who blends sensitivity and intellect with flawless technique, exceptional insight, and refined subtlety," Cho has always sought to uncover something new within the music he plays. With Mozart, he asked a simple but profound question: is this music really just about clarity and poise? His answer reveals a different Mozart entirely — one full of dialogue and song, wit and drama, characters with emotions and breath. An entire opera, contained within a single piano. In 2024, Cho performed the complete Mozart piano sonatas across four concerts, exploring this vast world on stage. That journey then moved into the recording studio. Beginning in March 2026 and continuing through June 2027, he will release the complete sonatas across six albums, issued every three months — the culmination of years of deep artistic reflection.
