**Gongmyeong Concert: "Gil, Tea, Pleasure" / Guilty Pleasure** Gongmyeong believes that environmental issues call for more than awareness alone — they deserve genuine artistic and musical response. The ensemble has long channeled reflections on nature into their creative work. Two pieces, *Guilty Pleasure* and *Rivers and People*, were originally produced as online content during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2026, both works are reimagined for the stage under the concert title **"Gil, Tea, Pleasure"** — newly filmed, re-arranged, and brought to life with immersive technology. The title carries a double meaning. On the surface, *Gil, Tea, Pleasure* evokes the simple joy of sipping tea along a journey. At the same time, it echoes the phrase *guilty pleasure* — that familiar feeling of enjoying something you know you probably shouldn't. This tension sits at the heart of the show. We enjoy our daily comforts, yet often turn a blind eye to the cost they carry for the natural world. That cup of tea on the go, the plastic casually tossed aside — it all finds its way into our mountains, rivers, oceans, and communities. **"Gil, Tea, Pleasure"** is a concert that explores the relationship between people and nature through music and visual art.
