# Gongjujeon (Before Becoming a Princess) **About the Performance** *Gongjujeon* means "before becoming a princess." Here, "princess" is not a title or profession — it's a symbol for every child standing at the threshold of the wider world. The show speaks directly to children: *"The world is vast, and within your own body lives an infinite universe of feeling and imagination."* Today's children are increasingly caught between packed tutoring schedules and screen time, leaving little room to simply move, play, and be free. On this stage, dance becomes play, and play becomes adventure. The princesses' journey — exploring the world through movement — offers every child who has yet to find their place a spark of courage and imagination to go out and discover it for themselves. *Gongjujeon* sends a message to the world of today: *"Go on out. Meet the world exactly as your body and heart feel it."* --- **Synopsis** A group of princesses living inside a grand castle set off to explore rooms they have never visited before. Through their dance, each room transforms into a season — spring, summer, autumn, and winter — each with its own color and scent. As the princesses venture into the unknown together, they share both joy and fear, and in doing so, find within themselves the dream and the courage to journey even further.
