## Yun Eunsol Violin Recital: *Resonance* *"How does music across different eras connect — and how is it reborn?"* This question lies at the heart of violinist Yun Eunsol's recital, *Resonance*. Known for her in-depth exploration of composers' complete works through the ongoing Mendelssohn and Beethoven string quartet project with the Abel Quartet, Yun now turns her focus to composers who inherited tradition while forging their own distinct musical voices. By placing Stravinsky and Prokofiev alongside the German Romantic lineage of Schumann and Strauss, she traces connections and resonances that transcend era and musical language. The program moves from Stravinsky's *Suite Italienne* and Schumann's *Violin Sonata No. 1* to Prokofiev's *5 Melodies* and Strauss's *Violin Sonata* — a cohesive journey through the visions of composers who looked back at the past with fresh eyes. Joined by pianist Ilya Rashkovsky, Yun's focus is not on what to show, but on how to communicate honestly.
