About this show
**Banana Time: Saints of 0.1mg** *Banana Time: Saints of 0.1mg* is a contemporary ballet that explores exhaustion and endurance through the lens of the body β particularly the female body β worn down by the pressures of modern life. Rather than celebrating recovery or idealized health, the work focuses on the bare minimum of energy and sensation that keeps a broken body moving forward through daily life. The performance unfolds not through dramatic narrative or clear resolution, but through physical states: repetition, stillness, trembling, and being held. Combining video, objects, and ensemble choreography, the choreographer's personal experiences expand beyond autobiography into something universal β a space where audiences can project their own bodies and lives onto the stage. This world-premiere work uses the contemporary ballet form to explore bodily experience and social realities rarely addressed in traditional ballet repertoire. *Banana Time: Saints of 0.1mg* is not a declaration of having recovered β it is an acknowledgment of still being alive, still moving forward, and an invitation for audiences to pause and look again at their own bodies and lives.
