## Performance Introduction Paris-based violinist Son Moeun made history in 2024 as the first Korean artist to win the Performer's Award at the Jazz à La Défense Competition in France — one of the country's most prestigious jazz competitions. This milestone came 25 years after jazz vocalist Na Youn Sun received a special jury award at the same event, and it stands as a powerful testament to Son Moeun's exceptional musicianship and artistry. Having steadily built her reputation on the European jazz scene, Son Moeun launched a fresh chapter in 2025 under the new band name **MOEUN**, welcoming new members alongside the rebranding from her previous project. The band's debut album and her second full-length record, *Murmures d'après* ("Whispers of After"), is set for release on September 18th of this year. The album captures her signature lyricism and elegance while embracing a more accessible, pop-influenced approach — offering listeners an intimate collection of her own personal stories. --- ## Program 1.
