## Performance Introduction Paris-based violinist Son Moeun made history in 2024 as the first Korean artist to receive the Performer's Award at the Jazz à La Défense Competition in France. This prestigious recognition — the first for a Korean artist in 25 years since jazz vocalist Nah Youn Sun received a Special Jury Award — stands as a clear testament to her exceptional musicianship and artistry. Having steadily built a reputation on the European jazz scene, Son Moeun rebranded in 2025, welcoming new members and adopting the band name **MOEUN**. The group's debut album — and her second full-length record — *Murmures d'après* ("Whispers of After") is set for release on September 18th of this year. The album captures her signature lyricism and elegance while embracing a more accessible, pop-influenced approach, weaving together the many stories that are uniquely her own. --- ## Program 1.
