**Gayageum Pioena — *Blooming Together*** In 2019, Gayageum Pioena first took the stage with a vision to explore new possibilities for the gayageum, connecting with audiences through diverse and creative performances. After a period of rest, the group returns in 2026 — reborn as the Gayageum Pioena Ensemble. *Blooming Together* marks the ensemble's first chapter: a gathering of individual musicians who come together to bloom as one. Moving beyond traditional Korean music, the ensemble reimagines classical, film, and popular music through the unique voice of the gayageum, continually pushing the boundaries of what this instrument can express. This concert is both a new beginning and a first step — one that carries the performers' shared vision and spirit of discovery. As they grow together through mutual respect and collaboration, they hope to share that warmth with every member of the audience.
