Haeparang Trail (Busan and Ulsan Sections)

The Haeparang Trail is South Korea's longest walking trail, stretching 750 km from Oryukdo in Busan. As you walk along the Haeparang Trail — where coastal paths, forest trails, and village roads connect — breathtaking seaside scenery unfolds before your eyes. Following a path imbued with the hopes and wishes of those who have lived by the sea, you will come across Haedong Yonggungsa, a temple where the sun rises first. Along the way, you will also find Dongbaekseom, where camellia flowers blaze red in the depths of winter, and Ganjeolgot, one of the first places in the country to witness the rising sun.
