Discover Gyeongju's Greatest Cultural Heritage
About
There is no doubt that Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, nestled on the slopes of Tohamsan Mountain in Gyeongju, are among the most representative cultural treasures of Korea. Both listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Bulguksa and Seokguram are essential stops on any visit to Gyeongju, offering a glimpse into the very essence of Buddhist culture from the Silla period. Beyond Seokguram, at the Janghangni Temple Site, visitors can encounter a five-story stone pagoda regarded as a masterpiece of the Unified Silla era.
