Gyeongbokgung is considered the most iconic palace representing our country. However, it is Changdeokgung that has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Changdeokgung is a palace where kings, beginning with Taejong, stayed more frequently and for longer periods than at Gyeongbokgung.
