Serene Blossom Path at Chunghon Weeping Cherry

April at Hyeonchungwon blooms with flowers. Cherry blossoms embroider the surroundings of Gyeoreol Madang — the pathway stretching from the main gate of Hyeonchungwon all the way to Hyeonchungtap — in soft shades of pale pink. Here, you can savor the arrival of spring quietly, without the noise or crowds, while reflecting on the meaning of the patriots who passed through life like falling petals in service of their country. Of particular note are the weeping cherry trees, which trail their long branches out to either side much like weeping willows — a sight that is rarely encountered anywhere else.
